Nuts ! Where do you buy them from?
« on: November 30, 2017, 10:54:30 pm »
Hi All.

I have just bought some almonds from ASDA - Silly me not researching first.
Where do you buy your :
 - gluten free almonds
 - gluten free peanuts
 - gluten free cashew nuts
 - gluten free brazil nuts

BTW - I did search for 'nuts' before posting this.

Thanks,
Colin.

Go on, I have a moments, so I will bite.  If you want your nuts as they come, in the shell, or even shelled and otherwise not messed about with, then it's pretty much anywhere that happens to be convenient.  There's going to be next to zero chance of gluten 'poisoning'.  However, if you are looking for the packaged, usually salted variety, for us Aldi is king.  Always good value and we rarely, if ever, see the dreaded words: "unsuitable for coeliacs due to processing methods" (or similar) on the packets.  Haven't had a problem yet.

Morrison's have a good selection of "plain" nuts, usually in the fresh produce section.
